A weekend away. Saltspring Island, Canada.

We managed to escape the busy city life for the August long weekend to do some camping on Saltspring Island. It was a much needed break!

Granville Island Market Tour. Vancouver, Canada.

I had the opportunity to join a Granville Island Market Tour to photograph the flavours and happenings of the bustling famous market. The tours are organized through Edible British Columbia, a boutique foods store that focuses on fresh, local and sustainable food products. I learned so much about the ins and outs of the daily market happenings as well as the history of the island itself. Oh and guests on the tour get delicious samples of goods along the way too! I love food and I love the culture around food even more and would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone.
