The Last Supper. Vancouver, Canada.

It is with a bit of sadness that I photographed my last dinner series event at Edible British Columbia. All is not lost, however, since Edible British Columbia isn't closing it's doors but rather is expanding and re-branding as Edible Canada at the Market. The new space boasts 4000 square feet, which will accommodate a full service restaurant and bar, take out window, chef dinner series events and the retail store. Sustainability and fresh local products coming from small producers is what it's all about. So as one door closes another door opens. For more information on Edible Canada at the Market please visit www.ediblecanadaonline.com

The menu you see in these photos was put together and prepared by a young culinary student named Rachel. She chose dishes that originate from her Creol heritage and let me tell you the food was delicious! I was so impressed with her eloquent way of educating and instructing the guests throughout the evening.

Empire Music. Vancouver, Canada.

I can now add musical instruments to my repertoire of product shots. These particular instruments are coming from Empire Music (www.empire-music.com), who supplies school band students. The guitars are very shiny, which posed some lighting challenges but I am happy with the end results!
