Kathakali. Kerala, India.

Kathakali is a traditional art form of Kerala dating back to the 17th century. It uses makeup, singing, drums, body language and costumes to tell a story. "Katha" means "story" and "Kali" means "play". The students study for eight to ten years to become a Kathakali artist.
